I purchase these foil blankets to be used for sensory play with my 10 month old. He has used these since he was 3 months old and has absolutely loved them. They can be easily cut up into smaller pieces and he loves the sounds he can make by laying on them, crinkling them and throwing them around. They’re also shiny which he loves too and make a great den to have sensory lights inside as the lights reflect on the foil. Such a good price and so much fun. I know this isn’t the main use for a foil blanket but they are fairly durable although quite thin.

I am sure its an excellent space blanket( which is its proper purpose) but I used it as a sturdy serviceable bird deterrent for my fruit trees. Cutting it in strips and tying them to the branches - works a treat and lasts well.

These were pretty cheap and bought for a festival as emergency if needed. I used one and whilst it wasn't exactly warm, it did provide a layer. As they're so cheap I can't really complain too much. Probably worth the purchase but don't rely on them.

Yo lo compré para las ventanas, mi casa es vieja y sufre mucho de humedad, en la parte de las ventanas, y se me ocurrió que en vez de colocar plástico para humedad colocar las mantas térmicas, así podría colocarlos y quitarlos sin usar pegamento y era más baratos. Buena idea porque dejaron de sudar las ventanas y ya no sufrían de humedad. Ahora que estamos en primavera y hacía buen tiempo se me ocurrió quitarlas que no cuesta nada y las ventanas aparecieron al día siguiente húmedas, he vuelto a colocarlas otra vez y no las sacaré hasta que sepa y sienta que el verano esta aquí. Yo las puse por fuera y como tengo persianas no tengo miedo a que salgan volando, cierro las persianas coloco la manta sin pegamento, me aseguro de que cubre la persiana y luego cierro la ventana. Yo los coloco con cuidado porque son frágiles. Lo explico por si a alguien le interesa.
