Great description. Brilliant compact size. I bought 2 of these for emergency use, and fingers crossed they'll stay in the bags. I do alot of group walkingand and we are all prepared for most eventualities. Better to have and not need, than to need and not have. I see them being used on the ill equipped walkers, especially with the poor summer and colder seasons fast approaching.

Bought this life tent to keep in the car in case of emergency to make a heat reflective shelter in case I had to leave my vehicle. Whilst the material isn’t the thickness of a tarp I really wasn’t expecting that at this price point so I’m very pleased with the product. Using a lightening deal I’m content to store this away in the boot with a camping blanket and other gear as a “just in case” product. Reading previous reviews I did take this out of the carry case and string the ridge line inside before folding it away again so it’s more or less ready to put up as soon as I need it. Due to it’s weight, size and price point I’d highly recommend this product as you never know when you might need it

I like to test things out before having to rely on them in the wild. This tube of plastic comes with a chord, however, they have not strung it ready to use, the faffing about that went on and on really tested my patience. There are a couple of thin loops of plastic to thread the chord through, but the first loop ripped before I got to the one at the other end. I then could see that this was not going to work as both ends were slipping down the dip in the chord, short of tightening it like a guitar string there was no chance of having a tent long enough for me. I decided to tie the corner of the plastic sheet to the chord, this worked but could see straight away that in nature half your day would be looking for something just the right height and width apart in order for it to work. I feel that on arrival at your site where you have decided to pitch, even a slight breeze would make it impossible to put up. My suggestion would be to prep it first and re bag it. Good look with that as well, I think it's a one use item and testing it inside my house may have been my only use. Finally, I think it may be dangerous, its the type of polyethene that can suffocate you, all I can think of is being rapped in this if it collapsed in the wind, and panicking to breath and free yourself. I'm not sure this will be shown, but if it is, just buy a plastic bivvy bag or spend a little more on a really small tent and carry a little more weight.

For the size of a can of pop it’s great to keep with you in the trunk of your car or in a backpack for hikes. The material is lightweight and sturdy enough to make a shelter and keep you warm. I honestly bought this on a whim and for the price it was worth it. It’s not an all in one so make sure you pair it with emergency blankets too.

Auf meiner Pilgerreise durch die italienischen Marken war das Go Time Gear Life Tent ein unerwarteter Lebensretter. Bereits nach der 2. Etappe, als meine Kräfte nach 30 Kilometern völlig erschöpft waren, bot mir dieses ultraleichte Notfallzelt einen sicheren Unterschlupf. Ohne großartige Vorbereitung, nur mit meiner Kleidung und unter freiem Himmel, konnte ich eine erholsame Nacht verbringen – warm und trocken, trotz der widrigen Umstände. Das Zelt ist unglaublich kompakt und leicht, mit nur 250 Gramm ein absolutes Must-Have für jeden, der längere Wanderungen oder Pilgerreisen plant. Dank der reiß- und stichfesten BO-PET-Folie hat es den Wind und die Kälte erfolgreich abgehalten und gab mir die Wärme zurück, die ich nach einem so langen Tag dringend benötigte. Der Aufbau ging schnell und problemlos vonstatten, besonders als ich es zwischen zwei Bäumen befestigte. Es hat mir die Freiheit gegeben, mich voll auf meine Reise zu konzentrieren, ohne mich um mein Übernachtungsequipment sorgen zu müssen. Ein weiteres Highlight ist die integrierte 120-Dezibel-Pfeife und der stabile 6-Meter-Paracord-Kordelzug, der nicht nur für den Aufbau nützlich ist, sondern im Notfall lebensrettend sein kann. Auch die kleine, wiederverwendbare Hülle hat mir geholfen, das Zelt unkompliziert und platzsparend in meinem Rucksack zu verstauen. Ich bin zutiefst dankbar, dieses Zelt auf meiner Reise dabei gehabt zu haben. Es hat mir nicht nur Schutz vor den Elementen geboten, sondern mir auch die Sicherheit gegeben, in jeder Situation auf ein zuverlässiges Notfallzelt zurückgreifen zu können.
